DIY 1600 gallon build with this-4’x8′, 2″ thick Clear acrylic panel (one panel only!) – $500 (Overland, Mo)

This is a 4’x8′ (actually around 4.2′ x 8.2′) 2″ thick acrylic panel that was used as main window on a 1600 gallon freshwater aquarium. Its in very good condition except about a 2″ border around the interior surface that was scuffed for better seal adhesion. This would be very easy to buff out.

You will need to get it out of my basement. It weighs about 400lbs and we barely got it down into the narrow basement stairs with four average guys due to its unwieldy nature. Due to the narrow steps, there really is only room for two people.. so the person at the bottom needs to be able to palm the better part of the 400lbs themselves. It’ll take some huge dudes to get it back up those stairs.

Also it will have a bunch of sealant still stuck to it from when it got removed.

Attention!! Web site is for entertainment only, it is only intended to show prices and set ups of aquariums for sale. Check Craigslist city listed for tank info., if unable to find I would assume tank sold. Emails will not be answered in the form of "is this tank still for sale?" or "whats the contact info?"... will not be answered.
