Whats for sale (all measurements L x W x H):
Tank
Tank: A.G.E. < 6 months Old, euro-braced, 3 side low iron (Star fire) glass, PVC bottom, 0.75" thick glass, peninsula style tank. 84" x 42" x 30" with top
Tank Description: Built this tank to have a gyre in place. You will see in pictures the back 12" of tank has 3 boxes (essentially). Middle box is overflow box and could be dry. Both side boxes are open to tank through black egg-crate. This allows me to run 6 MP 60s (3 each side) to generate a circular gyre (one side at each time) to create great flow in tank. The overflow boxes includes bulkheads for one times 1.5" PVC pipe, four times 1" PVC pipe, and 2 times 1/2" PVC pipe. (I use 1.5" as main overflow full syphon and two 1" overflows as back-up. The other two 1" are return lines. The 1/2" are for electrical coming into tank to go to some under-sand circulation pumps that I never used. There are no "holes" in the bottom of tank besides those in overflow box. My one disclaimer is I don't "love" the overflow box style. I had to modify it to get the water level high to where I like it. You can see in pictures there is actually two overflow "front" panels. back one is welded and "dry – wall" Front one slides up and out as you desire. (This part is cool). There are 0, none, scratches on the entire glass portion of the tank (inside and out). I love this tank, I want to take it with me but my wife has (rightfully so) said no as this will take up the majority of our future NYC apartment. My loss is hopefully your gain.
Tank Stand: Black powder coated steel, adjustable feet, 84" x 42" x 36"
Sump: A.G.E. acrylic 56" x 34" x 20" – has two seven inch socks, FUGE section, and 3 bubble baffles at end. Water level is 8" in main skimmer section of tank. Two things to note. 1) They screwed up filter sock hole sizes, I fixed it. 2) They drilled exit bulkheads 0.5". yes. 1/2". I welded over those and installed three times 1.5" bulkheads.
Tank, Sump, and Stand Price (not separating): Paid 5300 tank, 550 sump, and 2150 for stand (8000). I will take ~20% of that to move it or $2500 for tank and stand – you will have to come pick it up (will require 8 guys). I imagine it would be about 1500 to ship this baby (cost me 500 to ship from A.G.E. and 1000 to install it (8 guys lifting it). For 2750 plus shipping cost, I will arrange for it to be shipped to you. (warning – I have no idea of crating, labor, and shipping cost – figure it would be at least 1500 – 2000 and the extra 250 is I am lazy and don't want to do this ).
You are welcome to all the rocks (marco rocks plus one bulk reef supply 50lb coral) and sand (premium aquatics tropic eden reef-flakes).
