315 gallon acrylic aquarium – $1500 (Phoenix,Az.)

I love this aquarium to death, but it’s time to let it go to a new owner. Tank is made from 3/4″ thick acrylic and measures 6 foot across, 36″ tall and 24″ deep. Built in overflow with black acrylic back. The tank sits on a fully welded 1 1/2″ stand that is topped with 3/4″ plywood (polyurethane coated) for both tank and sump. Stand is skirted with pine and currently unfinished (you can stain to suit your style). Sump has UV sterilizer, protein skimmer and dual holding chambers for chaeto or even mantis shrimp or clams to filter water with out being consumed.

Lighting system is also included and is programmable based on the yearly sun cycle and has a moonlight setting.

This tank was extremely expensive to purchase, so don’t low ball me. Set up with fish is priced at $1500.00 FIRM

Beautiful 300 Gallon custom aquarium, acrylic is 1″ thick and rounded at the edges of the tank. The canopy and stand are custom and are high end furniture grade.70 gallon sump with over $1,000 of top end ceramic filter media.including 7 gallons of marinepure bio spheres,4 large marine pure blocks ,6 marine pure plates and several No3 x-port bricks. It is 10 feet long, 2 feet wide and 2 feet deep, and sits on a 30″ tall metal stand wrapped in a rustic pine skin.There is dual circulation systems (one closed loop, one with a 100 gallon sump), has skimmer as well as LED lights that are fully adjustable and programmable.

This is a huge set up and you will need 5-6 friends to help move the components as the tank empty is heavy.

450 gallon Acrylic Aquarium Steel stand complete setup – $2400 (Phoenix) Sold, Sold, Sold!!!

I have a 450 gallon monster Acrylic aquarium and stand for sale. The tank measures 8’x3’x2.5’H or 96″x36″x30″. The tank has a Heavy Duty 2″ reinforced steel stand to safely support the weight. The stand has some minor rust from sloppy water changes that can easily be cleaned up. The tank has a built in overflow in the rear center that measures 18″x6″ with 2″ plumbing contained within. This can handle high output pumps, there are two returns built into the overflow box. Majority of plumbing is still intact and included. You may want to redo it, but I left it so you could see the schematic I used which worked great at having no risk of overflow and near silent operation. I have new bulkheads I can throw in to make setup easy.. The tank has some minor scratches and crazing like any used acrylic, but nothing major. I work with Acrylic so if you want to take the time to do extra and reinforce the tank I have solvents and the materials and will throw them in for free and teach you a few techniques. The tank is fantastic, and I’ve enjoyed it for years. I also can teach you how to buff and polish acrylic, to remove any of the inevitable scratches that occur with time. It’s easy to work with once you know what’s going on, much more forgiving and impact resistant than glass (and lighter).I have a 6x2x2 (72″x24″x24″) chambered sump that fits beneath. I have the pump to match. Both are sized specifically for a heavy stock in the tank. The sump holds a very large volume of media, can easily be used for a K1 moving bed or liverock if saltwater is your fancy. Has opening for four 7″ filter socks, center chamber of the sump is around 4’x2’x2′ (48″x24″x24″) for media, final chamber for heaters. Sump and powerful external pump are included with all of the fittings and check valves. I love a simple setup. I may be talked into selling a large bead filter and pump that are also in the unit, rated for a 1500 gallon system. The tank runs like a dream and holds water just like it should. I’m selling because it won’t fit into my family room at my new home so I was forced to downsize. Bring at least 7 strong folks and a box truck or trailer, this is a show tank so it takes a crew to move. I am large and strong and can probably bring one or two other guys depending on meeting time.I’ve priced this setup to sell for a fraction of what out cost to have built. I talked with the “main” local aquarium builder here in Phoenix and was quoted 6000 for this same setup without sump and pump. Last year before we decided to move. Turn key setup, your chance at the monster tank you’ve always wanted.

Tank is perfect for both fresh and saltwater. I know tanks, I know acrylic, I know tropical fish. This is the tank you’ve always wanted.
