have a custom built 300 gallon in wall tank sump plumbing and 2 sicca pumps tank measures 60x24x48/ 1 inch thick acrylic and sump is alsoa custom acrylic 50-60 gallons also can throw in a mh lighting if it is still available as its posted separately asking $2500 obo no low ball offers as I have as much time needed to sell also acrylic is in great condition last setup as a reef. This was special ordered and cost over $4000 new just for tank and each pump is $250 sump new was another $300 ordered with tank. May trade for dependable truck or other man toys of value $3500 for trade also may be interested in a complete saltwater setup with good equipment and live rock. Well the family is growing and it is time to sell my 300 gallon tank. At one time I was very involved with raising African Cichlids and as colorful and entertaining as they are, they do need their own territory. So I thought, why not give them lots of space, after all, the bigger the tank, the more stable the water. I purchased the tank new- had a professional woodworker build a furniture grade stand and with 5 strong guys had them take it from the trucks to where it is now.
Since then, I have been busy raising a family and it is now time to use the space differently.
The tank is approximately 8 feet long, 5 feet high (including the stand). The birch raised panel cabinet is finished on 3 sides and is solid wood on these 3 sides. You really don’t want to know what this would cost to build in today’s prices. I have one photo attached to give you an idea of what it looks like. The tank currently holds two tinfoil barbs to keep it functional. If you have any questions please email them.
This would make a great fresh or marine display tank and hold lots of great fish. Please contact me if you are as serious about aquarium fish as I once was – this tank is not a casual hobby aquarium.
