700G Reef Tank Aquarium – $1000 (Hammond)
I got the tank in already used condition and started the restoration, but my situation has changed since i acquired the tank and i’d like to pass it on to someone else who will finish the project and enjoy the tank. This is an opportunity to own a larger than life dream tank at a fraction of retail. I don’t want to answer a ton of random questions, so if you are seriously interested, email me and you can come take a look and talk to me about it. Not interested in any trades or offers besides cash, the asking price is about half of what I paid, so all low ballers will be ignored. The dimensions are 8ft long x 3ft wide x 4ft tall. The tank is all 1″ thick cell cast acrylic, euro-braced on top, with center column overflow. It’s designed for a reef tank setup, but the overflow could be plugged and the tank could be used other applications. The tank does not leak, and has no deep scratches or gouges, but it does need work. It is currently about 2/3 of the way through a novus polish to remove small surface scratches. If you are not familiar with this, it’s basically a paste that can be applied in a series of steps to buff out haze and scratches from plastic, which if done thoroughly will return the clarity to like new condition. It is easy to do with a hand drill or buffer but is a time consuming process, google it.
